Shopify profit margin calculator

Your real profit per order after product costs, shipping, payment fees and ad spend. Free, on this page, no signup.

What this tells you

Revenue tells you what customers paid. Profit is what survives after your product cost, shipping, roughly 3% payment processing, and whatever you spent on ads to win the order. Many stores discover their hero product nets a few dollars per order, or less than zero once ads are counted. This calculator shows one order; Lytix computes it live for every product in your store, every day.

Now see it live for every product you sell

Lytix tracks this math per SKU automatically and flags the products quietly losing money.

Common questions

What should I include in COGS?

The landed cost of the product itself: manufacturing or wholesale cost plus inbound freight. Shipping to the customer and payment fees have their own fields here.

What is a good net margin per order?

It varies by category, but if ad spend is included and margin is under 10%, growth will be fragile. Many healthy DTC stores target 15 to 25% after all costs.

Is this calculator really free?

Yes. No signup, no email. If you want this computed live from your real store data, that is what Lytix does.
